Winner Meng named EVP of Great River Trading Co.
GREENSBORO, N.C. — Winner Meng has been named executive vice president of case goods importer Great River Trading Co.
Meng has been employed by Great River owner Dalian Hua Feng since 1995 and was in charge of exports to the U.S. In his new post at Great River, he reports to Jenny Xu, vice president of Dalian Hua Feng.
Previously, Meng was based in China and was the liason between Dalian Hua Feng and Great River's U.S. offices. He will still primarily be based in China and will work in the U.S. periodically, officials with the company said.
Meng replaces Michael Waggoner, who has left Great River to pursue other interests.
Great River's daily U.S. business operations will be handled by Sandee Sledge, director of sales and marketing, and Lisa Allred, accounting manager. Both report to Meng.
Additionally, Great River will relocate its corporate office to High Point in June to be closer its International Home Furnishings Center showroom.
